Fairies, aliens and sociology

I've found an interesting article in Swift, the newsletter of the James Randi Educational Foundation. It's contemplating on the similarities of the fairy folklore and the modern folklore of aliens. There may be interesting similarities - probably it'd worth a thorougher study.
